Itinerary & Tour Details

  • 09:00 — Departure from Freedom Square, Tbilisi.
    Our journey begins!

  • 10:00 — Stop in Asureti, a former German village with a rich, multicultural past. Stroll through its quiet streets and learn about its unique history.

  • 11:30 — Arrival at Dashbashi Canyon.
    Here we see an example of how nature is being commercialized — an impressive site, but also food for thought.

  • 13:30 — Lunch in the Greek village of Tsalka.
    Enjoy local flavors and hear the stories of this little-known Greek community in Georgia.

  • 15:00 — Visit to Paravani Lake – the largest lake in Georgia.
    A short walk by the water and a stop at a stylish little shop run by the nuns of Poka Monastery – known for their handmade products and gourmet treats.

  • 16:30 — Explore Gorelovka, a village once home to the Doukhobors – a pacifist spiritual community that left behind a fascinating legacy.

  • 18:00–20:00 — Return drive to Tbilisi.
    We share our impressions, stories, and favorite moments from the day.

  • ~20:00 — Arrival back in Tbilisi.

FAQs

  • Comfortable clothes and shoes for walking, a small backpack, water, sunscreen, and a hat. Don’t forget your camera!

  • Transportation, a professional English-speaking guide, entrance fees (if any), and a bottle of water.

  • Meals, personal expenses, and optional activities are not included unless stated otherwise.

  • We keep our groups small and personal — usually between 4 and 15 people.

  • All tours are available in English. Other languages (such as Russian or German) can be arranged on request.

  • We provide comfortable transportation from a central meeting point in Tbilisi (or your hotel, if agreed in advance).

  • Tours run in most weather conditions. Please check the forecast and dress accordingly. In case of severe weather, we’ll contact you about possible changes.
    Javakheti region is known for being windy!
